Blues Party Fund Raiser
The Gov hosted another fantastic blues night on 19 April 2008 to help raise money for St Johns Youth Services for homeless kids aged 12 to 25. The gig featured Steve Brown and the Last Train Home with special guests from a diverse range of other Adelaide based blues and roots bands. A big crowd attended the gig raising almost $1800 for Adelaide's homeless kids. Organisers were keen to get Adelaide's finest blues and roots artists together on one stage to have a lot of fun (and didn’t they!), entertain the crowd and raise money for a great cause. Special thanks to all the musicians who dedicated their time to play this special gig, Roy for helping it sound real nice and to those who supported the cause by attending. Many thanks also to all the team at the Gov. Dave Lloyd and Steve Brown from Last Train Home are already planning the next Blues Party Fundraiser. If you missed this special gig don't miss the next one!
