The 2013 Award categories:
1 Best SA 'Blues' Album of 2012-13.
2 Best SA 'Roots' Album of 2012-13.
The winners of the awards were announced at The Deep South Music Festival on Sunday Dec 1st at The Gov'. Recipients received an Award Certificate and a generous voucher from Derringers Music.
Eligibility:
Service Awards in acknowledgement of their enterprise and vital contribution to live roots and blues Music in Adelaide were given to Don Morrison and Mojo Inc ( Rob Eyers, Andrew Dundon and Chris Leese)
Don Morrison receiving his Service Award ( much to the delight of MC David Stoeckel ). FINALISTS

- The Album must have been released during the period of August 2011 to September 2013
- The album can be by a band or solo artist.
- The Band or solo musician must have been primarily based in South Australia over the award period.
- Bands or solo musicians with multiple album releases during this time are permitted to submit entries for each album.
- The album's content fits within the genre of 'roots' and or 'blues' music.
- The album must contain at least 6 tracks or be of 25 minutes or more duration.
